What personal information do we gather about customers?
Information necessary for online ordering: We use the information you provide for communication, order fulfillment, and billing. Sensitive information such as credit card data is used in transactions with Cybersource, our merchant services provider, and is transparent to the GetPaper.com organization. We do not store credit card information, and it does not reside on our server for any length of time. The payment session is handled via an API with Cybersource, and our responsibility is to adhere to the Payment Card Data Security Standards for our level of compliance.
E-mail communications: GetPaper.com uses e-mail to communicate account information, order status, and shipping confirmations. We may occasionally send a promotional message to notify you of products we feel would be of beneift to you. We will never ask you to communicate sensitive billing data via e-mail.
Cookies: Unless a visitor has disabled cookies, our website will place a cookie on our visitors’ machines. These cookies may be used to identify visitors for additional website-only advertising (not email) from within the same network where we purchase a particular Web advertising method. You may place secure orders online, but if you would rather not provide your personal information over the Internet, you may call toll free at 1-800-236-8162 to place your order over the telephone for an extra processing fee. Ask for supplies sales when you call.
